‘Selling Sunset’ Star Nicole Young Snaps Up $2.3 Million Nashville Home—as Rumors Surface She’s Quit Netflix Series for Good

by Kelsi Karruli

Nicole Young is making some major moves—purchasing a new $2.3 million home in Tennessee, just as rumors began to surface that she has quit the hit Netflix series "Selling Sunset" once and for all.

While Young, 40, has not yet commented on whether she has bid farewell to the hit reality show, she appears to have confirmed her exit from Los Angeles, where the series is filmed, after announcing that she and her husband, Brandon, have snapped up a "dream home" in Nashville.

The seasoned real estate agent took to Instagram to showcase the stunning abode, sharing a video of the empty property, which is located in the tony suburb of West Meade.

"It’s been a hell of a journey getting here, but we FINALLY found and bought our dream home and we couldn’t be happier!" she wrote in the caption. "You’ve been forewarned—home content coming in hard and fast! Furnishing, decorating, organizing, gardening, everything!"

As first reported by TMZ, the Youngs' new property is a sprawling four-bedroom abode that spans close to 2,500 square feet and sits on a 0.6-acre plot. Records show that the sale of the property closed on March 3, with a final price of $2.34 million.

In her video tour of the property, Young showed off the open floor plan, the soaring ceilings and modern finishes.

The real estate agent flaunted the dwelling's expansive living area, which comes complete with sliding French doors, wooden floors, and an elegant fireplace.

She then moved to the chef's kitchen, which features a marble island, plenty of cabinetry, and state-of-the-art appliances.

Young also showed off the bathroom, which came complete with a double vanity and a large soaking tub.

The reality star first revealed to Realtor.com® in October that she had her sights set on pursuing a fresh chapter in Tennessee, explaining at the time that she was in the process of selling her Los Angeles property.

She also admitted that her future on "Selling Sunset" was still very much up in the air.

"In terms of 'Selling Sunset,' future plans beyond Season 9 [and] what's already been filmed, I don't know if there are any further plans, so my next step now is Nashville and we'll see from there," she said. "There are no plans for any kind of filming in Nashville."

The news of Young's new home comes after it was revealed that the the cast of "Selling Sunset" is reportedly set for a major shake-up, with Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa said to be returning to Netflix's hit real estate drama.

Young is also said to have exited the cast of the show, with TMZ reporting that she told producers she had "no interest" in returning for Season 10 of "Selling Sunset."

However, the real estate pro is still listed as an agent on The Oppenheim Group's website, suggesting that she has not cut ties with her career on the West Coast—although it remains to be see whether she will manage her work from her new home in Nashville.

Interestingly, her Oppenheim Group profile calls attention to her ability to multitask, stating: "Nicole has experience representing a wide range of clientele from first time buyers and sellers to celebrities, executives, and other high profile individuals.

"Resulting from her range in clientele, she has developed the ability to fulfill many different roles during the transaction process. From salesperson to buyer’s advocate, analyst, advisor, consultant, negotiator, and marketing specialist she will adapt to provide her clients the support and skills they need.

"Above all, she always has a meticulous, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset."

While Young's departure from the show has yet to be confirmed, her role is far from the only "Selling Sunset" shake-up set for the upcoming season. It was also previously reported that Young's co-star Chelsea Lazkani was also turning her back on the show.

Weeks after Quinn confessed that she was having "conversations" with the streaming giant about coming back to the series on her own terms, reports emerged saying that the Texas native will be front and center for the show's 10th season.

In fact, the cast was apparently "supposed to start filming, and it has been delayed because they are waiting for her to finish negotiations," according to Us Weekly.

The 37-year-old became one of the most divisive women on TV after being positioned as the "villain" of the cast during her five-season run on "Selling Sunset," which premiered in 2019.

Quinn did not address what a return to "Selling Sunset" would mean for her life in Dallas.

The reality TV alum previously gushed about her return to her home state, telling the Dallas Morning News that her decision to move there was not only a desire to get out of California, but also a need to get back to her roots, noting that many viewers might not have realized that she's a Texas native.

"A lot of people don't know that I'm actually from Texas originally. So I grew up here, and I went to Southlake Carroll. A lot of people don't know that," she said. "My family still lives in the same house that I grew up in, and I live in the area. I'm a suburb gal."

"Dallas is like my home and Fort Worth as well," she said of her love for the Lone Star State.

She then showcased her favorite spots in the area for a girls' night out.

"My favorite place to have a girls' night out, there's so many spots. The Gaylord, love that. Hotel Vin in Grapevine, love that.

"I love going to Fort Worth, too. I'm like a Billy Bob's, sloppy drunk, Jell-O shots, absolutely love that. And then afterward, I would say White Elephant just to boot scoot and boogie, right? Those are some of my favorite places," the real estate agent said.

But Quinn loves more than the partying scene that Texas has to offer. She also loves the shopping spots.

Although she does most of her retail therapy online, Quinn noted that there are shopping centers that she can't get enough of.
