Carrie Underwood Adopts 2 Orphaned Lambs at Her $15 Million Tennessee Farm: ‘Trying To Be a Good Mama’

Country singer Carrie Underwood has welcomed two adorable new additions to her Tennessee farmhouse: a pair of orphaned lambs who are now happily settling into their new life at the luxury property.

The 43-year-old "Before He Cheats" hitmaker took to Instagram to reveal that she and her husband, Mike Fisher, had brought the two baby animals home to their Franklin, TN, abode, noting in the post that she has been spending much of her time trying to be a "good mama" to the lambs.

She added that she and her family—including her two sons—have named their new arrivals Magnolia—or Maggie—and Murray.

Sharing a carousel of images and clips, beginning with a video of herself bottle feeding the lambs, Underwood wrote in the caption: "Timeline cleanse... We adopted these two little orphan lambs. We named them Magnolia (Maggie) and Murray.

"These mornings are so precious. It took a few days for them to willingly take the bottle…I’m still working on him. Trying to be a good mama to these babies."

Another clip of the lambs showed them munching on the grass.

The last image in the carousel depicted Underwood crouching down in the barn, attempting to get closer to the lambs, who were hiding in the corner.

Underwood and Fisher, who wed in 2010 and share kids Isaiah Michael Fisher, 11, and Jacob Bryan Fisher, 7, began building their extraordinary Franklin farmhouse in 2016, one year after they purchased a $2.9 million 400-acre plot of land on which to construct their dream home.

Estimates suggest it could now be worth anywhere up to $15 million.

The construction process took more than two years, with the family finally taking up residence in their enormous new mansion in around 2018.

Now, it seems, they've gained two new roommates—who will have more than enough room to roam around, thanks to the property's sprawling grounds.

In addition to that lush land, the property's grounds come complete with a resort-style pool and a barn, where the singer's newly adopted animals live.

Meanwhile, the home itself spreads across multiple stories—and is positioned at the end of an enormous circular driveway, while several additional structures, including a guesthouse and multiple barns, are dotted on the land around it.

Underwood—who has an estimated net worth of $120 million—previously revealed why she and her husband chose to design a custom property, explaining that they wanted to create something that fit all of their expectations for their "forever" abode.

In 2016, she told Country Living, "My husband, Mike [Fisher], and I are designing our 'forever' home. My must-haves are a wood-burning fireplace, a porch swing, and rocking chairs"

After Underwood and Fisher moved into their "forever home," they decided to sell their other Tennessee property, where the singer had previously suffered a horrific facial injury.

In 2017, Underwood fell outside the Nashville home and sustained multiple injuries, including cuts that required 40 to 50 stitches and a broken wrist.

“They are completely done with the neighborhood. The decision came after her fall,” a source told People at the time, claiming that their decision to build a new home was a direct result of her injury.

“They’ve been having a lot of issues with neighbors letting people in the community to look around and it all escalated after the fall," the insider added.

Immediately following the accident, Underwood told Hoda Kotb during an interview on the "Today" show, "Plain and simple, it was just kind of a freak accident. Just fell. I just tripped taking my dogs out to do their business. It could happen to anybody.”

"I say if I would have fallen anywhere else, it wouldn’t have been a problem. There was one little step that I went to catch myself on and I missed," she added.

Underwood's former home was built in 2000 and came complete with four bedrooms that spread across 7,083 square feet.

It also featured a two-story entry with a curved staircase, a formal dining room, and living room. The kitchen also boasted a breakfast nook and stainless steel appliances (including a wine fridge), and opened to a family room with access to the back patio.
