Coming Soon: Turci Italian Deli To Open in College Park Early 2027

Turci Panino is moving and becoming Turci Italian Deli. The new location is planned for 3009 Edgewater Drive, in the former Dunkin’/Baskin-Robbins building directly across from Gabriel’s Sub Shop. The project was announced in September with an estimated construction/opening timeline of roughly six months, putting the target around early 2027 if that timeline holds.

Until then, Turci Panino is still operating at 2122 Edgewater Drive in College Park, next door to Turci Pasta from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. daily.
The concept started in 2023 from owners Vinicius Turci and Nathalia Kalil, building off their success with Turci Pasta. Their panini use focaccia or Italian sub rolls, imported cured meats and house-made spreads.
Highlights at Turci’s Panino include the Roma with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil; Parma with prosciutto, gorgonzola spread, walnuts and truffle honey; Bologna with mortadella, pistachio spread, burrata and pistachio; Napoli with porchetta, black-truffle spread and grilled zucchini; Demarchi with salami, pesto, fresh mozzarella and parmesan; and the namesake Turci Panino with prosciutto, pecorino spread and black-truffle spread. They also have a build-your-own option, vegan panino, salads, desserts and fresh pasta dishes.

The new deli will be much more than the current sandwich shop. The plans include panini, imported Italian meats and cheeses, Italian grocery/market items, Turci’s house-made pastas and sauces, authentic gelato and Italian coffee. The former Dunkin’ drive-thru will also be put to good use: patrons can quickly pick up quality Italian food, including coffee and breakfast sandwiches, on the go at the drive-thru. The announced hours for the new deli are 7 a.m.–9 p.m., seven days a week.

The move also frees up the original Panino space for the family’s flagship next door. Turci Pasta has already expanded into the former Panino footprint, adding seating and a new dining area in the evenings while Turci Panino still operates during the day and lunch time hours.
The Turci Family in addition to Turci Pasta in College Park, operate Luca Turci Italian Restaurant at 153 E. Morse Boulevard in Winter Park, a restaurant named partly in tribute to their son Luca and is a more polished Italian boutique-style concept.
Their other major project is Turci Osteria Italiana at 171 S. Orlando Avenue in Maitland City Centre, described as an Italian wine bar/small-plates concept centered around a large bar, with a new menu distinct from their other restaurants. As of September, Orlando Weekly reported it was under construction with an estimated three-to-four-month opening window, which would put it roughly late 2026/early 2027 if construction stays on schedule.
Vinicius told Tasty Chomps that he has additional projects in mind, but that he wants to finish these current concepts before announcing what comes next.
Keep an eye out for all the happenings and stay tuned here for more!
