Fig & Olive Mediterranean Kitchen Brings Fast-Casual Customizable Bowls Concept to the Marketplace at Avalon Park
Orlando, FL, November 3, 2026 – The Marketplace at Avalon Park announced today that Fig & Olive Mediterranean Kitchen will be joining the east Orlando food hall with a fast-casual dining concept that pairs the vibrant flavors of Mediterranean cooking with the convenience of a meal built around each guest’s preferences.
Led by hospitality operator Ramzi Naber, Fig & Olive is built on a simple idea: offer flavorful food, welcoming service and an affordable menu that invites guests to explore.
“Mediterranean food is about sharing, generosity and fresh ingredients, and we wanted to make that experience easy for everyone to enjoy,” said Naber. “At Fig & Olive, every guest can build a meal that fits their taste, their schedule and their budget, without giving up quality or flavor. We look forward to welcoming the community to the table.”
The centerpiece of the menu is the Build Your Own Bowl, starting at $12.99. Guests begin with a base or spread, such as basmati rice, lemon-herb quinoa, super greens, hummus or baba ghanouj. They then add a protein, Mediterranean toppings and a dressing.
Protein selections include homemade falafel, free-range chicken breast shawarma and Angus beef shawarma. Lamb kofta kabob and sumac-herbed salmon are available as premium options. Toppings range from roasted eggplant and pickled vegetables to olives, caramelized onions and figs. Finishing sauces include toum garlic, tahini and spicy harissa.
For guests who prefer a ready-made combination, Fig & Olive offers six signature bowls, including the Free-Range Chicken Breast Shawarma Bowl, Angus Beef Shawarma Bowl, Homemade Falafel Crunch Bowl and Sumac-Herbed Salmon Bowl.
The menu also goes beyond bowls. Hummus, baba ghanouj and tzatziki are each served with pita, and the Trio Mezza brings all three dips together for sharing. Other bites include fried kibbeh, sambousek, falafel and za’atar fries. Desserts include baklava, rice pudding and Dubai chocolate tiramisu.
Fig & Olive’s branding of warm wood, gold lettering, figs and olive branches reflects the welcoming character behind its promise: “Taste the Difference.”
Fig & Olive anticipates opening in early December, with the official date to be announced on the Marketplace’s social media, @marketplaceatavalonpark, once confirmed.
