Inside Usher’s Art-Packed Atlanta Mansion—Complete With Stuffed Toy Wall, Hookah Lounge, and Private Barber Shop
Usher is back with a bang—and a splash of controversy—after embarking on a new stadium tour with fellow performer Chris Brown, marking the latest in a long line of sold-out performances the musician has done during his 30-year career.
The "OMG" singer, 47, who is originally from Texas, kicked off his tour on June 26, and has since traveled to a host of cities across the U.S. and Canada, including Toronto, Denver, Detroit, Nashville, TN, and Cleveland.
Titled "The R&B Tour," or "Raymond and Brown Tour," the multistadium event has been met with critical acclaim from some—but frantic speculation from others amid claims that the musician, whose real name is Usher Terry Raymond IV, has used a "clone" or body double to take his place onstage during several of the performances.
Concertgoers flooded social media with their bizarre conspiracy theories after seeing the star perform at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, claiming that the singer secretly hired a lookalike to take his place during the performance.
"Usher, why'd you have to play us all like that last night?" one person wrote on TikTok, while sharing several video clips of the performer on stage.
"Usher really sent out his doppelganger," they added.
The rumors were further fueled when one person commented that the musician's signature hand tattoos were not visible in the video.
"Wait so the real Usher has HAND TATTOOS. A star on each hand between his thumb and index finger in the thenar area," they wrote. "I’ve paused and zoomed in on so many frames with this area of his hand exposed and don’t see the tattoos."
Usher has since hit back at the allegations in a video shared to the tour's official Instagram account, which featured a clip of the musician singing and dancing onstage, while several of his response comments were laid over him.
"Y'all are funny...clone? They can't close this??" the first comment read, while in the second he stated: "How ya'll come up with this? AI ain't that advanced."
The tour comes after a rare period of rest and relaxation for Usher, who recently revealed to Architectural Digest that he had undergone surgery on his knee earlier this year. It forced him to take a break so he could recuperate at home.
"I had surgery on my knee, so it gave me a lot of time to be able to just be home and get myself better," he shared.
It was undoubtedly a welcome opportunity for Usher to enjoy the incredible estate he and his wife, Jennifer Goicoechea Raymond, have spent years building in Atlanta, where the musician purchased a stunning Colonial-style mansion in 2021.

Inside Usher's opulent Atlanta abode—and incredible art collection
Usher's main residence is now a sprawling estate in Atlanta, where he resides with his wife and four children.
According to records, the musician purchased the home for $3.9 million in 2021. He then spent a great deal of time carrying out a major overhaul of the property, alongside his longtime collaborator Nicole Fuller. They turned the dwelling into both an opulent residence and a living art gallery.
In a recent cover shoot for Architectural Digest, Usher unveiled some of the more unique pieces that fill the 10,000-square-foot space. They include a concrete wall inlaid with the family's handprints, his grandmother's piano, and an art installation designed by his wife, which features a vintage TV that plays videos of different cultural moments on a loop.
The singer noted to the outlet that he has dedicated himself to preserving the work of Black artists, filling his home with various displays, from photography to sculpture.
However, the family's presence is felt in every room. Artwork by his son Naviyd is featured on the walls, while an enlarged drawing of a tattoo that Usher has on his chin has been turned into a decorative ceiling mural.
Even the children's rooms have been given an artistic, yet whimsical, feel. They include a wall that has been covered in stuffed animals and a ceiling mural that was inspired by the drawings of his daughter, Sovereign.
Each room in the home featrues a distinct aesthetic—from the dark and moody "gentleman's room," which is filled with mementos from Usher's impressive 30-year career, to the elegant pink-hued living room, where there is a custom-designed plastic-covered couch created in homage to "the pristine, off-limits furniture once revered by Black elders like his mom," AD notes.
The property also features a sizable media room, an expansive primary suite—with his-and-her closets and a spalike bathroom—and a playroom with its own stage and foam pit.
Custom red marble countertops and backsplashes fill the kitchen area, which comes with a sizable island and top-of-the-line appliances. Each parent has also carved out additional rooms where they are able to kick back and relax: a gold simulator and barber shop for him and a hookah lounge for her.
Outside, the grounds of the home display different sculptures, while a sizable pool area provides the perfect place for the family to entertain guests, or relax in the Atlanta sunshine.
For days when Usher needs to blow off some steam, he need only head to the basketball court or the custom yoga deck.
The singer's former L.A. mansion has a star-studded background
In 2022, the singer forked over $3.4 million for Cara and Poppy Delevingne’s Hollywood Hills property.
The A-lister siblings purchased the property in 2017 from Jared Leto.
The 4,021-square-foot dwelling has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It featured an art studio, game room, bar, and music studio.
The Delevingne sisters decorated the 1955-midcentury property together before handing the keys over to Usher.
“Miraculously, we’re still talking,” the siblings told Architectural Digest in 2019.
When they handed the property over, it boasted emerald green walls, a rattan monkey chandelier, and banana-leaf wallpaper.
It also featured Moroccan sinks, a pool and spa, a stone fire pit, and a barbecue area.
The singer ultimately let go of the dwelling in August 2024 for $3.6 million.
West Hollywood dwelling
In 2015, shortly after tying the knot to his second wife, Grace Miguel, he purchased a $3.3 million property above the Sunset Strip.
The home, which was built in 1920, measured 2,908 square feet, including five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
The walls were painted black and balanced by light hardwood floors.
The home also boasted several lavish amenities, including a home theater, a primary suite with a private terrace, and a resort-style pool.
Three years after snapping up the home, thieves broke in and stole $20,000 in cash and jewelry.
At the time, the home was on the market for $4.2 million.
The couple split later that year and sold the home for $3.3 million mere months later.
Usher's OG Georgia pad
In 1999, Usher dropped $1.2 million on another home in Georgia.
The property spans 10,823 square feet and features a grand foyer with black marble columns, an expansive hallway, and a chic fireplace.
The singer put his own touch on the home, replacing the iron railings and adding a dance studio to the property.
In 2018, he sold it for $1.5 million.
