Philadelphia Eagles Star Saquon Barkley’s $4 Million Pennsylvania Mansion Is Targeted in Home Invasion

by Kelsi Karruli

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley's $4 million Pennsylvania home was the subject of a home invasion over the weekend—while the athlete was at the property with his family.

Local officials confirmed that the Chester County, PA, property was targeted in an incident that took place on July 18 at around 5 a.m., while revealing that they were still in the process of searching for suspects, who had fled the 29-year-old's home by the time authorities arrived on the scene.

The star athlete, his fiancee, Anna Congdon, and their children, Jada Clare Barkley, 8, and Saquon Jr., 3, are all understood to have been inside the home at the time, with police confirming that one suspect did enter the home.

However, no one was injured and nothing is thought to have been taken during the break-in, the Chester County District Attorney's Office told NBC Philadelphia.

"All of the occupants in the home were physically OK, obviously a little unsettled as anybody would be, but nobody was harmed," Capt. Tyler Moyer of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department told the outlet.

Police officers are searching for a white SUV in connection with the break-in, however, they have made it clear that they believe there was more than one vehicle involved.

"We know there's more than one, but we're still trying to determine how many were involved," Moyer added.

It is unknown if the suspects stole anything from the home before fleeing.

The District Attorney's Office is also requesting help from the public, asking anyone with information about the home invasion to come forward.

"We are asking the public to help us identify those responsible by checking any home security cameras for suspicious activity in the area around 5:00am," a spokesperson from the District Attorney's Office said.

"If you saw anything unusual or have video that may assist investigators, please contact the Tredyffrin Township Police Department immediately."

Barkley has only been residing in the home for two years, having purchased it for $3.9 million in April 2024, shortly after he signed a three-year deal with the Eagles, which is reportedly to have been worth $37.75 million.

He bought the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home, which was built in 2017 and is perched on 5 acres, via an LLC.

According to a previous listing, the property comes complete with a water filtration system, three fireplaces, and crown molding. The home also features an au-pair suite and two laundry rooms.

The chef's kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances and a walk-in pantry. The basement has been transformed into an entertainment center and comes complete with a home theater.

Meanwhile, the primary bedroom boasts bidet toilets, custom closets, and a chic bathroom with marble tile.

There is also a half basketball court, a gym, a movie theater, an outdoor kitchen, and a resort-style pool with a hot tub.

Realtor.com® estimates that the property is now worth upward of $4 million.

Since moving into the property, Barkley and Congdon have gotten engaged, with the football pro popping the question to his partner in 2025 after eight years of dating.

At the time of their engagement, he gushed, "I can't be the athlete I am and have the success I have had in my career without the help of her.

"She always has my back, not only in football but throughout life... as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better."

Barkley is the latest in a growing list of professional athletes whose homes have been targeted in break-ins.

In January 2025, four men were arrested in Ohio in connection with a series of burglaries at high-value properties in the state—with reports indicating that the group may have been responsible for the break-in at a mansion belonging to Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Just a few months later, former Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman shared chilling video footage of the moment his Washington home was broken into by armed robbers—while his wife and their daughters were inside the property.

Sherman, 37, posted several screenshots seemingly taken from an in-house security camera on his X account on March 31. They showed several masked men carrying handguns and wearing hooded ski-style jackets invading his home, which is located in Maple Valley, a suburb of Seattle.

Kansas City Chiefs teammates Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have also seen their properties broken into in the past two years.
