Taste of Space: Fall Bites Returns to Kennedy Space Center with New Fall Dishes

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is celebrating five years of Taste of Space: Fall Bites, returning September 28 through November 8, 2026, with a new lineup of seasonal dishes inspired by classic American flavors.

This year’s event takes on an Americana theme in recognition of the nation’s 250th birthday, pairing fall comfort food with a day of exploring the history and future of spaceflight.

At Orbit Café, the seasonal menu includes Confit Turkey, Corncakes and an Apple Fritter. Over at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, visitors can stop by Moon Rock Café for a Cassoulet-Style Pork Shank with Andouille or a Jumbo Apple Streusel Muffin.

The food is an added reason to explore Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex this fall. During a visit, you can get an up-close look at real flight-flown artifacts, meet the veteran astronaut appearing that day and experience one of the complex’s newest additions, Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure.

Planning a fall visit to Kennedy Space Center? Come hungry. Between exploring rockets and the Apollo/Saturn V Center, you can make your own Taste of Space food crawl, starting with Confit Turkey and Corncakes at Orbit Café before heading over to Moon Rock Café for the Pork Shank and something apple-filled to finish.
