Maker Faire Orlando Returns November 7-8 with Robots, Inventions, Hands-On Activities, and Family Fun
Get ready for a weekend of creativity, science, and innovation as Maker Faire Orlando returns November 7-8, 2026, at the Central Florida Fairgrounds & Expo Halls. The family-friendly event brings together inventors, artists, engineers, scientists, and creators for two days of interactive exhibits, competitions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
Known as the “Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth,” Maker Faire Orlando will feature more than 250 exhibits showcasing everything from robotics and 3D printing to cosplay, electronics, crafts, and homemade inventions.
One of the biggest attractions is Robot Ruckus, a combat robotics competition featuring battling robots from across the country, including machines associated with the popular television series BattleBots. Visitors can meet builders, watch robots compete, and learn about the engineering behind their creations.
Families can also explore interactive workshops, creative art installations, STEM activities, and demonstrations where kids can experiment, build, and learn directly from local makers.
Other highlights include Power Racing, where teams race modified electric vehicles, along with stage presentations featuring theme park designers, gaming creators, cosplay artists, and technology enthusiasts.
Organized by the nonprofit Maker Effect Foundation, the event encourages curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning for all ages.
